Professional Jamaicans for Jamaica, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, invites high school students in Jamaica to apply for our 2016 Scholarship. Since 2010, Professional Jamaicans for Jamaica, Inc. have offered financial assistance to students in Jamaica, some of whom are now enrolled in a Jamaican University.

Scholarships are an excellent way to obtain much-needed money for tuition, books or to offset other educational costs. Our organization is cognizant of the high education costs associated with attaining a high school diploma in Jamaica. Hence, we have made it our duty to play an integral role to support students in need. Our main scholarship is in the form of an essay competition; Ms. Esmie L. Walters Scholarship.

There are six (6) scholarship opportunities available to students in Jamaica, valued at JMD$1 million, for the 2016/2017 Academic Year. Students must visit our website at www.pjfj.org/scholarship for additional scholarship information, including the application form, and ensure a complete package is submitted to the organization on or before Thursday, June 30, 2016.

Thank you in advance.

Kindest regards,
Horace A. Daley
